Als je Bob Taylor kent, weet je dat hij van verfijnd houtwerk en een prettig geluid houdt. Dus toen hij besloot een akoestische versterker te ontwerpen uit een voorraad toonhoutsoorten die niet helemaal geschikt waren voor gitaren, wist hij precies wie hij moest bellen. Kort daarna waren pro-speler Terry Myers, elektronicagoeroe Tyler Robertson en houtbewerkingsexpert David Judd in Bobs werkplaats en vlogen de ideeën net zo hard als het zaagsel.
